This is the 13th International Conference which follows those held each year since 2007. After 2017, the workshop PODE alternates each year with the European Conference on Iteration Theory ECIT and therefore is being held every two years. This conference continues in the line of other PODE workshops: Laufen (Germany) in 2007, Laufen (Germany) in 2008, Bedlewo (Poland) in 2009, Xanthi (Greece) in 2010, Dublin (Ireland) in 2011, Richmond (Virginia, USA) in 2012, Bialystok (Poland) in 2013, Izmir (Turkey) in 2014, Covilhã (Portugal) in 2015, Riga (Latvia) in 2016, Urbino (Italy) in 2017 and Bragança (Portugal) in 2019.

The conference aims to gather together the members of the ISDE society and all researchers around the world that study difference equations and their applications to economics, social sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry and biology.
