Thanks to a communicative and interactive approach, the A1 Italian language and culture course allows students to acquire basic linguistic skills to simply and effectively interact in everyday situations, discovering the traditions and the excellence of Made in Italy.
The course is addressed to beginner students who want to achieve an A1 elementary level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
Learning to speak, listen, read, write and interact in Italian is easy and immediate thanks to a learner-centred method in classes of up to a maximum of 10 participants.

Obiettivi

The course gradually allows you to:

  • know alphabet, phonetics and prosody
  • greet and introduce yourself and others
  • interact in simple daily conversations (expressing your needs, asking and giving information)
  • describe the surrounding environment (actions, people, objects, places)
  • give time and place indications
  • know the main aspects of Italian culture through different text types (society, habits, traditions).

Programma

  • Course structure:
  • 30 ours of 60 minutes, with 5 thematic modules of 6h each
  • one meeting a week from 18.00 to 20.00
  • simultaneous video lessons (with the possibility of watching the recording in case of absence).

Contents:

  • Module 1: introductions (greeting, introducing yourself and others, jobs, managing simple conversations)
  • Module 2: daily life (talking about a typical day, your habits and those of others)
  • Module 3: free time (expressing tastes and preferences, making, accepting, refusing invitations)
  • Module 4: city and surroundings (knowing how to describe places, asking/giving directions, shopping)
  • Module 5: past experiences (understanding and telling past events)

N.B.: home delivery of textbooks is possible upon request, via Poste Italiane; delivery time is approximately 3 weeks.

Enrollment can only be completed online at the following link and the payment of the participation fee has to be made no later than 24th February 2024. Please select the correct amount during the enrollment procedure and make the payment for the corresponding fee.

  • Carta del docente: before accessing, Before accessing, generate the Physical Voucher. In the procedure you will be required to enter the voucher code and then send it to selda.lingueper@unicatt.it.
