Laparoscopic techniques are becoming more and more interesting for gynecological surgeons, and laparoscopy is emerging as the gold-standard approach for many procedures according to the many hundreds of randomized studies. Our vision is that laparoscopy should be part of the basic knowledge of a modern gynecologist in addition to a thorough knowledge of high-tech laparoscopic instrumentation, which is quickly evolving and requires a specific learning path.
